Prof. Alfredo Vellido

B.Sc. in Physics from the University of the Basque Country in 1996 and Ph.D. in Neural Computation from John Moores University in Liverpool, U.K., in 2000. A Ramón y Cajal tenure track researcher until 2008 and currently Associate Professor with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.

Chair of the Task Force on Medical Data Analysis of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) since 2017. Member of the editorial board of PLoS One and Neural Processing Letters.
